OUR STORY
I have been living in Dudhwa since my childhood. Some hazy memories are that grandfather used to wake me early in the morning to show me hundreds of deer standing outside our farm, gazing at the fields. Our farm is in Mailani, which itself is a very beautiful village and surrounded by terai forest from all directions.
I had to shift to Lakhimpur for my schooling. But I still used to manage to come back to Mailani every weekend and spend some time in nature with my grandparents. I have been exploring Dudhwa and Kishanpur since that time when private vehicles were allowed for free and no guide was needed. After completing school, I went to Bangalore to pursue a Bachelor in Technology in Computer Science. In 2020, I decided to quit my IT job and do something of my own.
I bought my first camera and started exploring from portraits to landscape photography. When I went to the forest after so many years, it triggered my childhood memories and that pleasure of being in nature convinced me to do something which would allow me to live in the forest. Now, I enjoy spending most of the time tracking tigers of Terai and hosting my guests.
